Biography
Josh is a partner at Duffy North. He believes that good lawyering starts with really getting to know his clients. He takes the time to understand their goals, challenges, and concerns so he can craft legal strategies that make sense for their lives and businesses.
Josh’s practice covers labor and employment law (for both employees and employers), real estate matters, civil litigation, Orphans’ Court disputes, and business law, including contract drafting, review and negotiation. Josh also helps clients with trademarks and copyrights. Whether helping someone through a workplace issue, guiding a family in a sensitive estate matter, or advising a business on a critical deal, Josh combines practical advice with strong advocacy.
Clients appreciate his approachable style, responsiveness, and clear communication, as well as his ability to cut through complexity and keep their best interest front and center.
Josh received his undergraduate degree from Penn State in 1997 where he majored in Labor and Industrial Relations. He earned his law degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 2000 and is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He is an active member of the Montgomery County Bar Association having served as a past chair of the Labor and Employment Committee.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, going to music concerts and rooting for Penn State, Phillies, Eagles, Sixers, and Flyers.
